Alongside Android Oreo Go edition, Google officially launched Files Go app

At the Google for India event, Google announced Android Oreo Go edition for entry-level smartphones. The new Go edition brings a set of light and optimized apps like Google Go, Google Assistant Go, YouTube Go, Google Maps Go, Gmail Go and Files Go.
Upcoming Go edition devices will come with Data Saver features active by default. The users can download any apps, but there will be a new section that includes optimized apps such as Facebook Lite, Messenger Lite, Twitter Lite etc.
Now come to the Files Go app, it is a lightweight file manager with the option to free up space and transfer files offline. The app will suggest users to delete large or heavy files, duplicate files or low-resolution videos and unused apps by using Google's mobile vision technology. It uses Bluetooth to transfer files to nearby Android devices. Using Files Go, users can also backup selected files to Google Drive, or any third-party cloud storage app. Files Go.
