Google has released April security update for Pixel, Nexus smartphones

Google rolls out the newest security update with bug fix and brings new changes to all features. That update will come with the April security patch and downloaded via OTA. The new update is available for the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P smartphones and also for the Pixel C tablet.
It provides 56 functional updates and some special improvements. The security update brings two security patch levels as dated 2018-04-01 and 2018-04-05. These patch levels address various system-level vulnerabilities, ranging from high to critical. It improves the micro video performance in Google Camera, locks screen performance, start time, modem stability, general connectivity such as VoTE improvement, and also optimise the battery performance.
