PrimeNG 8.0.0. coming out with Angular 8.0 support

On 13th June 2019, The PrimeNG team has rolled out PrimeNG version 8.0.0 with Angular 8 support, FocusTrap, and some improvements.


PrimeNG is a collection of rich UI components for Angular. PrimeNG is developed by PrimeTek Informatics, a vendor with years of expertise in developing open source UI solutions.


This version adds FocusTrap, a new directive that keeps focus within a certain DOM element.

The FileUpload component now uses HttpClient that works with interceptors into this new version.

The ‘rows’ of Table in PrimeNG 8.0.0.  now supports two-way binding.

In PrimeNG 8.0.0., "Spinner" now has the decimalSeperator and thousandSeperator props. Also, a formatInput prop is added to Spinner that formats input numbers according to localSeperators.


All widgets are open source and free to use under MIT License and free to download at NPM.
