Best PS4 steering wheel games

Every racing fan needs to get their hands on one of the most realistic racing sims of all time, the Assetto Corsa. The thrilling experience is supported by a plethora of choices when it comes to tracks and cars. The multiplayer aspect isn’t the best out there and the graphics are definitely below standard if you compare with some newer games, but this remains a great steering wheel game.

Project Cars 2

Some may argue that this game should come right behind GT Sport, but we didn’t like it as much because of the obvious lack of polish in comparison to our number one pick. However, all modern-classic racers need to get in on this action and explore the variety of cars on offer.

Team Sonic Racing

Because we have something here for everyone, we put in a karting game too. Team Sonic Racing may not be as loved as Mario or Crash but it has some great features on offer. Although you can play solo races, this game is mainly based on team sport. The gameplay is amazing and the teamwork required makes the entire experience more fun.

F1 2019

Out with a deeper career mode and new F2 content in the batch, the F1 2019 came early and it is here to please. Is it overhyped or does it give you the real deal? You will be pleased to find out how exhilarating this game is and enjoy making those realistic Louis Hamilton style moves all day long.

DiRT Rally 2.0

Take part in one of the most immersive steering wheel gaming experiences with an added option for PSVR DLC virtual driving. The attention to detail on this game is mind-blowing and handling is surreal. It’s difficult to complain about its problems. Although we can’t compare this to our next pick, the DiRT 4, this game is worth playing.

DiRT 4

When you play this game, some places look almost photo realistic at day and night. With such wonderful graphics and even more options than before, there is no way we could have placed another game at number 2. The game is challenging, the handling is wonderful and the DiRT 4 is guaranteed to make you fall in love with rallying.

Gran Turismo Sport

Featuring over 20 tracks and nearly 200 cars, the GT Sport is probably the most popular steering wheel game out there and for good reason. Handling and graphics have definitely gotten better over the years, so have the track and vehicle options. We have to predict it’ll only get better moving forward. If you have a PS4 and you love racing, it makes only makes sense that you should get the Gran Turismo Sport.
